Overspray, stripped paint, and wet walkways

Pressure washing insurance,
in plain English

High pressure means high stakes: stripped paint, cracked windows, slippery walkways. Cover the blowback before it happens.

Two minutes, and a licensed agent follows up once we can place coverage in your state.

How we get you covered

The things that actually go wrong on pressure washing jobs, and the coverage that answers for each one.

Covered vs. not covered — before you pay

General liability — Pressure washingExclusions up front
Covered
  • Property damage from spray, chemicals, or runoff
  • Injuries to bystanders
  • Damage discovered after the job is done
Not covered — read this first
  • Your own rig and machines (tools & equipment)
  • Jobs on roofs without an add-on
  • Damage from ignoring the manufacturer's PSI specs

The coverages pressure washers usually stack

General liability — If your work damages someone's stuff or hurts someone who isn't your employee, this pays. It's the policy every client COI request is really asking about.
Tools & equipment — Covers your own gear — stolen from the van, dropped off a ladder, fried on site. General liability never pays for your own stuff; this does.
Commercial auto — Your personal auto policy can deny claims that happen while working. If the van carries ladders and invoices, it needs a commercial policy.

What drives your price

We don't publish a "from $X a month" number, because for pressure washers it would be close to meaningless — the same work prices very differently depending on classification, payroll, claims history, and state. Get a real quote instead; it takes about two minutes and no one calls you.

Exclusions before checkout

Others reveal the fine print at checkout — or add it after you buy. Ours is on this page, above.

Renewals get re-shopped

If your renewal jumps, we re-shop it across carriers automatically and show you the math — we're an independent agency, not a captive one.

COIs that stay alive

Self-serve certificates, and renewal certs re-sent to every holder before they expire — so an expired COI never costs you a job. That's what we're building first.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need insurance to pressure wash houses?

Most states don't mandate it, but almost every commercial contract and many residential clients require a COI first. Some counties also require it for a business license.

Does insurance cover paint I accidentally strip?

Yes — damage you cause to the property you're working on is the core of general liability. Insurers will expect you to follow equipment PSI guidelines.

What about my machines?

Pumps, surface cleaners, and trailers need tools & equipment coverage — a separate policy from liability, priced on the replacement value of the gear you schedule.
